Please come and see us to discuss your plans to travel to Central and South America in 2016 and 2017.
It looks set to be an exciting year for Central and South America, with British Airways launching their new flight to Costa Rica in April and a direct service to Lima, Peru in May. We are expecting a Peace Agreement to be signed between the Colombian Government and the FARC in March which will provide an added boost to travel to the country and we have already noticed an upsurge in interest in Cuba with the reestablishment of diplomatic relations with the US after decades of antipathy. The eyes of the world will be on Brazil later in the year with the Rio Olympics and Paralympics.
Difficulties and problems remain, of course, with concerns about the drug wars in Mexico, continuing lawlessness in Honduras and unrest in Venezela. The election of a new president in Argentina and a new Ambassador coming to London give rise to hopes for an improvement in relations with the UK.
