Ecuador Travel Advice

Revealed Travel have resumed travel services and are taking new bookings to Ecuador. This follows the lifting of the Foreign Office advice against all travel to the mainland following a period of civil unrest. The Galapagos Islands were unaffected.

When such Foreign Office advice is in place tour operators are unable to take bookings or to run operations in the country. At Revealed Travel, the safety of our passengers is our highest priority. In such circumstances we liaise with passengers in Latin America and with our ground agents locally to ensure our travellers remain safe whilst we put alternative arrangements in place. Travellers to Latin America appreciate that local events may cause disruption to some services, just as occasional train strikes, protests and demonstrations do here.

The Foreign Office continues to advise against all travel within 20km of the border with Colombia (except through the official border crossing town at Tulcan) and against all but essential travel in the area around Esmeraldas and parts of the North-East.
